AmCOMP aspires to be an essential long-term partner with its network of more than 3,000
agents, representing approximately 950 independent agencies. We are very careful about who we
choose, offering our agents franchise value by limiting access to AmCOMP "paper". Our agents sell
the value of our boutique services, including loss prevention, proactive claims management and a
total care management network for injured workers. We provide a "best value" alternative; and
although we may not be the lowest bid on the street, our agents know we partner with our
policyholders to prevent injuries before they happen, develop safety plans and training programs,
create modified return-to-work and alternate-duty programs, and work hand-in-hand with them to
drive down their workers' comp costs.
